NY Post: Mets’ Jacob deGrom operating ‘as normal’ after injury-plagued season. "The Mets ace, according to [general manager Billy] Eppler, isn’t facing restrictions in preparing for the season. deGrom missed the second half of last season because of elbow inflammation that was later diagnosed as a low-grade tear of the ulnar collateral ligament."

NY Post: "...one-year contract worth $4 million, The Post’s Joel Sherman first reported. Ottavino’s contract includes another $1 million in incentives. The right-hander went 7-3 with a 4.21 ERA and 11 saves last season in 69 appearances. Ottavino, 36, grew up in Brooklyn and pitched for the Yankees in 2019-20."
