With the game tied at 1 in the 8th, an error by 1B Jim Hickman extended allowed the Bucs to score 4 unearned runs off Warren Spahn (L,4-5) runs capped off by a Willie Stargell 3 run homer. Only Mets run came via Spahn as well when he singled in Hickman in the 3rd.
