Come out and meet 1986 New York Mets World Series Champion Kevin Mitchell at Mirabito Stadium on Saturday May 21^st as the Binghamton Rumble Ponies play the Akron RubberDucks.

The 1989 National League Most Valuable Player and two-time All-Star played for the New York Mets, San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants, Seattle Mariners, Cincinnati Reds, Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Guardians, and Oakland Athletics as part of a 13-year major league career. As a member of the Mets '86 World Series Championship team, he hit .277 with 12 home runs and 43 RBI in 108 games.

Mitchell will speak with the media from 4:45 PM to 5:00 PM in the Rumble Ponies dugout on the first base side of the field.
