FLUSHING, N.Y., May 17, 2022 – The New York Mets today announced the following update regarding Jacob deGrom.
Jacob deGrom underwent follow-up imaging yesterday that revealed continued healing in the scapula. He will continue to build distance and velocity in his throwing program, and we will provide an update on his progress when appropriate.
In addition, the Mets announced the following roster moves.
OF Starling Marte was placed on the Bereavement List on May 16.
RHP Steve Nogosek was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse on May 16.
RHP Adonis Medina has been added as the 27th player for today's doubleheader…He is available for both games.
RHP Trevor Williams will start game one and RHP Taijuan Walker Will start game two.
