Championship Team Will be Honored Prior to Friday's Game
The Binghamton Rumble Ponies, as part of their season long 30th anniversary celebration, are honoring the members of the 1992 Championship Team on Friday July 22nd as the Rumble Ponies open a nine-game homestand against the Hartford Yard Goats.
Members of the first team in Binghamton Mets history who will be attending include: Tom Allison, John Johnstone, Chris Dorn, Denny Harringer, Chris Butterfield, and Tom Wegmann. Tanya Reuteman, wife of the late RC Reuteman who was the first General Manager of the Binghamton Mets, will also be in attendance along with 1992 Pitching Coach Randy Niemann and former B-Mets General Manager Scott Brown.
The team will be honored in a pre-game ceremony prior to Friday's game beginning approximately around 6:35 PM with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 PM.
