RHP R.J. Alvarez had his contract selected from Triple-A Syracuse. He will wear #71.
RHP Carlos Carrasco was placed on the 15-Day IL, with a low-grade left oblique strain.
RHP Adonis Medina optioned to Triple-A Syracuse.
OF Nick Plummer designated for assignment.
OF Travis Jankowski signed to a minor league contract.
