9/7/2022 - Mets Roster Moves - Scherzer to IL, Medina DFA'd

  

The New York Mets have announced the following Roster Moves:

RHP Max Scherzer has been placed on the 15-Day IL, retroactive to September 4, with left oblique irritation. 

LHP Alex Claudio has been selected from Triple-A Syracuse…He will wear #58. 

RHP Yoan López has been recalled from Triple-A Syracuse and will serve as the team’s 29^th man for both games of the doubleheader. 

RHP Adonis Medina has been designated for assignment.

LHP Joey Lucchesi assigned to Binghamton Rumble Ponies.

St. Lucie Mets placed C Fernando Villalobos on the 7-day injured list.

New York Mets sent RHP Tylor Megill on a rehab assignment to Syracuse Mets.

Syracuse Mets sent RF Carlos Rincon on a rehab assignment to Brooklyn Cyclones.

Brooklyn Cyclones sent SS Kevin Kendall on a rehab assignment to Brooklyn Cyclones.
