10/14/2022 - Mets Roster Moves - JT Riddle and Locke St. John elect Free Agency

  

The New York Mets have announced the following Roster Moves:

SS JT Riddle elected free agency.

Mets obtained JT from the Reds in May to provide AAA insurance for the Major League team with a player who had MLB experience.  

In 61 games for Syracuse, JT Riddle hit 1 HR, 8 RBIs, .254/.276/.436 - .713 OPS.

LHP Locke St. John elected free agency.

Mets claimed Locke St. John off waivers from the Cubs on May 10, 2022.  He pitched 29 games for Syracuse, 2 wins, 5 losses, 6.00 ERA, 45 innings 32 Ks. 1.429 WHIP;
