12/6/2022 - Mets Roster Moves - Sean Reid-Foley and Tommy Hunter sign minor deals

  

The Mets announced that they have signed Tommy Hunter and Sean Reid-Foley to minor league contracts.  Both were assigned to Syracuse and both will be eligible for this year's Rule 5 draft.  The moves give the Mets MLB caliber depth at AAA.

Sean Reid-Foley, obtained as part of the deal that sent Steven Matz to Toronto, pitched in just 7 games with a 5.40 ERA for the Mets in 2022 before he underwent Tommy John surgery on May 11, 2022.
