Good Morning. Happy Birthday Robert Carson. Jeff McNeil talks about his Batting Title, Daniel Vogelbach with a quick interview and more advocacy on the Mets getting Andrew Chafin.
Section Links: Mets Links, MLB Links, Winter Baseball, and This Day in Mets History.
Clutchpoints: Andrew Chafin and bullpen arms Mets must target. "Chafin struck out 10.5 batters per nine innings over 64 games and 57.1 innings last season with the Tigers. He keeps the ball in the park, allowing 0.6 home runs per nine in his career, and has been exceptionally healthy and consistent since his first MLB season in 2015 with the Arizona Diamondbacks."

I spoke with a scout who works/lives in the DR about Ronny Mauricio this week. He has seen him play a ton since Mauricio was 16 including all of the recent Dominican Winter League. He thinks Mauricio is best suited to be a 3B in the majors. 20-25 HR potential at his peak.
