3/26/2023 Mets Roster Moves: Brigham, Mendick optioned to AAA, McFarland & Yacabonis sent to Minor League Camp

The New York Mets announced the following Roster Moves:  Jeff Brigham has been optioned to Triple-A Syracuse. LHP T.J. McFarland and RHP Jimmy Yacabonis have been reassigned to minor league camp.

The Mets Spring Roster now stands at 35 (see below - Mobile Users can click here).  This includes at least 5 players that will likely be added to the Injured List later this week - Edwin Diaz, Sam Coonrod,  Stephen Ridings, Jose Quintana, and Bryce Montes de Oca.  Four more players will need to be cut before Opening Day on Thursday, March 30th.

Update: Shortly before today's game started the Mets announced via Twitter that INF Danny Mendick was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse.
