4/6/2023 Mets Roster Moves: Omar Narváez to the IL, Mets claim RHP Edwin Uceta

 

Please note the following Mets and Binghamton Rumble Ponies Roster moves:

The New York Mets announced via Twitter that "Omar Narváez underwent imaging this morning that revealed a medium to high-grade strain of his left calf. He will be placed on the Injured List. A typical return to play for this type of injury is 8-9 weeks."

Francisco Alvarez recently was sent to NYC in the event that Narvaez would need to go on the IL.  

The New York Mets also announced via Twitter: "We've claimed RHP Edwin Uceta from Pittsburgh and optioned him to Triple-A Syracuse. In addition, we've transferred RHP Sam Coonrod to the 60-Day IL."

The Binghamton Rumble Ponies also announced the following Roster Moves: 

-OF Tanner Murphy - transferred from AA Binghamton to AAA Syracuse

-LHP Nathan Lavender - Added to AA Binghamton 

-RHP David Griffin - Added to AA Binghamton
