The Mets have announced the following roster moves:
LHP T.J. McFarland has been selected from Triple-A Syracuse…He will wear #44.
LHP Josh Walker has been optioned to Triple-A Syracuse.
RHP Drew Smith has been reinstated.
Francisco Alvarez had right knee surgery this morning to repair his torn meniscus. The Mets expect him to be on the longer end of his recovery timetable, so a full eight weeks. That should take Alvarez into mid-July.

Francisco Lindor (calf strain) is "showing signs of healing," per Carlos Mendoza, based off his last MRI. But Lindor is not close to baseball activities, and therefore is not close at all to a return.
