Here are the Brooklyn Cyclone Game Notes for today's game.

The Brooklyn Cyclones (27-37) look to snap a two-game slide against the Hudson Valley Renegades (39-26) — the High-A affiliate of the New York Yankees — on Thursday night at 7 p.m. from Maimonides Park on Coney Island. 

RHP Tyler Stuart (1-0, 1.47) — the Mets’ No. 18 prospect per Baseball America and Minor League Baseball’s ERA leader — is scheduled to take the hill for Brooklyn against Hudson Valley’s LHP Joel Valdez (1-4, 6.14).

LAST TIME OUT: Brooklyn dropped their 2nd-straight contest to Hudson Valley on Wednesday night...Cyclones rallied to erase a 3-run deficit in the 7th...CF Alex Ramírez delivered an RBI single in that frame as part of a season-high-tying 3-hit night...C Kevin Parada provided the game-tying run-scoring triple...He collected 2 hits and 2 RBI...Renegades took the lead for good on a RF Aldenis Sánchez RBI knock in the 8th...He added a 2-run triple in the 9th, as part of a 2-hit, 3-RBI game...RHP Robert Colina whiffed 7 over 3.1 innings of shutout relief for Brooklyn...RHP Nick Paciorek recorded the game’s final 4 outs, earning his 3rd save for the ‘Gades. 

 

A-RAM IT: OF Alex Ramírez tied a season-high with 3 hits — adding an RBI — on Wednesday night vs. Hudson Valley...In the month of June, the 20-year-old is tied for 4th in the South Atlantic League in walks (12)...Ramírez is scattered among the Cyclones’ all-time leaderboard despite joining the team last July 4...Entering Thursday, the Dominican native is 3rd in franchise history in RBI (65) and is 4 behind INF José Peroza (69) for the all-time mark...He is also tied for 4th in hits (116), 5th in total bases (174), and 6th in doubles (26). 

 

PARADA DAY: C Kevin Parada has picked up the pace offensively over the last few weeks...Dating back to June 6 vs. Greenville, the 21-year-old is slashing .319/.373/.489 with a .862 OPS and 136 wRC+ in 12 games...Parada has accrued 5 runs scored, a triple, 2 home runs, 8 RBI, 3 walks, and a hit-by-pitch...Additionally, the Pasadena, Calif. native enters Thursday on a 4-game hitting streak (7-for-16) and a 9-game on-base streak (.324/.395/.471)...The former Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket enters Thursday tied for 5th in the South Atlantic League in doubles (14). 

 

TY-NAMIC: RHP Tyler Stuart tossed 6.0 innings of 1-run ball last Friday night and is as imposing as any starting pitcher in the South Atlantic League in 2023...The 23-year-old permitted just 2 earned runs over 25.1 frames (0.71 ERA) in 5 starts during May...Stuart leads all qualifiers in the  SAL, High-A, and all of Minor League Baseball in ERA (1.47)...The Kankakee, Ill. native leads the league in LOB% (88.2%) and FIP (2.88), 3rd in xFIP (3.36), 6th in strikeout rate (30.0%), 7th in strikeouts per 9 innings (10.96), 9th in batting average against (.218), and 10th in WHIP (1.15).
