The Brooklyn Cyclones (1-0, 29-37) look to stretch their win streak to three against the Hudson Valley Renegades (0-1, 39-28) — the High-A affiliate of the New York Yankees — on Saturday evening at 6 p.m. from Maimonides Park on Coney Island. 

RHP Cameron Foster (2-4, 5.06) is scheduled to take the hill for Brooklyn against Hudson Valley’s RHP Juan Carela (2-2, 3.04).

LAST TIME OUT: Brooklyn earned their 2nd-straight victory with a 6-1 triumph over Hudson Valley on Friday night...C Kevin Parada registered his first career multi-home run game as part of a career-high-tying 3-hit night...The 21-year-old hammered a solo shot in the 3rd and added a 2-run inside-the-park home run in the 6th...The Cyclones clubbed 3 home runs in the 3rd inning...3B William Lugo and LF Jaylen Palmer followed Parada with solo blasts of their own...CF Alex Ramírez reached base 3 times on 2 singles and a walk...Lugo also added a multi-hit effort...RHP Blade Tidwell tossed his 2nd-straight quality start, posting 6.0 innings of 1-run, 9-strikeout ball...The 22-year-old captured his 4th win. 

 

HOMER HAPPY: On Friday night, the Cyclones set a team season-high with 4 home runs vs. Hudson Valley...Brooklyn’s previous high water mark was 3 on June 13 at Aberdeen...It was the first time the ‘Clones had clubbed at least 4 home runs in a single game since July 31, 2022, at Hudson Valley...RF Alex Ramírez homered twice on a solo shot in the 4th and a 2-run blast in the 6th...C José Mena and 1B Joe Suozzi went back-to-back in the 7th...Brooklyn’s 3-home run 3rd inning on Friday was also the first for the franchise since the team smashed a trio in the top of the 5th on July 27, 2021, at Jersey Shore...DH Edgardo Fermín (2-run) and SS Ronny Mauricio went back-to-back before 2B Luis González added a 2-run shot of his own later in the frame...Friday also marked the first time the Cyclones have poked 4+ home runs at Maimonides Park since a 5-homer barrage on September 18, 2021, vs. Jersey Shore...CF Jaylen Palmer, C Oscar Campos, 2B Luke Ritter, DH Francisco Álvarez, and 1B Wilmer Reyes all went deep.
