8/3/2023: Mets Roster Moves - Mets Release Luke Voit

 

The New York Mets announced on the Syracuse Mets Roster Page that they have released Luke Voit.

Per Mike Mayer on Twitter, Luke opted out.  This give him a chance to find another opportunity.  Players added to team rosters by 8/31/23 are eligible for the post season rosters.  MLB Rosters expand to 28 on September 1st.  

In 37 games for Syracuse, Luke hit 14 Homeruns with 35 RBIs - .264/.415/.643
