The Brooklyn Cyclones (32-21, 59-58) will try and match their longest winning streak of the season at five against the Asheville Tourists (20-33, 46-68) — the High-A affiliate of the Houston Astros — on Sunday afternoon at 1:05 p.m. from McCormick Field in Asheville, N.C. 

RHP Robert Colina (3-4, 3.64 ERA) is scheduled to take the hill for Brooklyn against Asheville’s RHP Nic Swanson (0-2, 4.89 ERA).

LAST TIME OUT: Cyclones earned their 4th consecutive win in an 8-5 victory at Asheville on Friday...Brooklyn scored 4 runs in the 5th and 3 more in the 7th to take a 7-2 lead...Tourists scored 3 in the 7th to pull within 2, but no closer...All 9 in the Cyclones lineup reached base and 8 picked up hits...DH Kevin Parada, RF Stanley Consuegra, SS William Lugo, LF Omar De Los Santos, and C Christian Pregent all tallied multi-hit games...Lugo and 3B Chase Estep each collected multi-RBI games, as well...RHP Jordan Geber struck out 6 and yielded 2 runs on 4 hits over 5.1 innings to earn his first win since returning off the injured list...RHP Joe Joe Rodríguez struck out 5 and earned a hold in his debut, while RHP Luis A. Rodríguez recorded the final 3 outs for the save in his...LF Zach Cole and 3B Justin Williams each had 2 hits and RBI for Asheville. 

 

ON THE FINAL FEW CORKSCREWS: Brooklyn is looking to secure a second-straight playoff appearance and has won 7 of their last 11 series since Greenville won 4-of-6 on Coney Island from June 6-11...The Cyclones are 7-2-2 in their last 11 sets...Brooklyn is 32-21 in the second half and 2 games ahead of Jersey Shore (30-23) atop the North Division of the SAL with 13 games left to play...The BlueClaws hold the tiebreaker over Brooklyn as a result of winning the season series (15-11).
