The New York Mets have announced the following roster moves via Twitter:
OF Brandon Nimmo has been placed on the 10-Day IL, retroactive to Sept. 29, with a right shoulder sprain.
C Michael Pérez has been recalled from Triple-A Syracuse.
Brandon Nimmo's MRI revealed no rotator cuff damage in his shoulder, per Buck Showalter. Sounds like a relatively minor injury that will cost Nimmo the rest of this season but shouldn't affect him in 2024.
