10/4/2023: Mets Roster Moves: CF Abraham Almonte elects free agency plus players added to the 40 Man

The New York Mets have announced the following roster moves per the transactions tab on the Syracuse Mets Roster Page.  

CF Abraham Almonte elected free agency

In a technical move, the following players already on the Mets 40 Man Roster were recalled from the minor leagues:  

SS Luisangel Acuña; 

RHP Vinny Nittoli;

RHP Sam Coonrod;

SS Jonathan Araúz:

LHP Joey Lucchesi;

RHP Peyton Battenfield;

RHP Jeff Brigham;

The Mets 40-Man Roster now stands at 45 players including 5 Pitchers still listed on the 60 Day IL - Edwin Diaz, John Curtiss, Elieser Hernandez, Bryce Montes de Oca, and Josh Walker.
