Report: Mets to hire Yankees Bench Carlos Mendoza as new Manager

According to Joel Sherman and Jon Heyman on X/Twitter, the Mets will hire Carlos Mendoza as the next Manager.

Per the NY Post: "Mendoza, 43, has coached in the Yankees organization since 2009, including the last four as Aaron Boone’s bench coach."
