The Syracuse Mets have released their 2024 Opening Day Roster.
The starting rotation: Jose Butto, Dom Hamel, Joey Lucchesi, Christian Scott and Mike Vasil.
Relief Pitchers: Jon Duplantier, Shintaro Fujinami, Reed Garrett, Grant Hartwig, Nate Lavender, Dedniel Nunez, Eric Orze, Yacksel Rios, Cole Sulser and Josh Walker.
Catchers: Austin Allen, Tomas Nido and Matt O'Neil.
Infielders; Luisangel Acuna, Rylan Bannon, Ji-Man Choi, Jose Iglesias, Luke Ritter, Yolmer Sanchez and Mark Vientos.
Outfielders: Carlos Cortes, Ben Gamel, Drew Gilbert, Taylor Kohlwey and Trayce Thompson.
Notable players from last year's team left off the list: Wyatt Young, Jaylen Palmer, Joe Suozzi, Justin Jarvis and Brandon McIlwain.
All in all, a deep roster with a lot of MLB experience.
