The New York Mets have announced the following roster moves -

Catcher Francisco Alvarez has been placed on the 15-Day IL with a left thumb sprain.

Catcher Tomás Nido has been selected from Triple-A Syracuse…He will wear #3.

LHP Kolton Ingram has been designated for assignment.
