Mets News and Links would like to congratulate Herm Card. Herm won the award for the best 2023-24 Sports Photo from the Syracuse Press Club.
Mets News and Links is very honored to display Herm's photos of the Syracuse Mets. Henceforth, we will refer to Herm as the Award Winning Herm Card.
Herm's award winning photo "Safe at Home" was from the Syracuse Challenger Baseball series. From the Syracuse Press club website: "Judge’s comment on winner: 'What emotion captured here. A feast for the eyes and soul.'"
Herm also won an honorable mention for the photo below of Brandon McIlwain's catch for the Syracuse Mets last year.
