Here are the Brooklyn Cyclone Game Notes for today's game.

The Brooklyn Cyclones (32-31) return home to Coney Island for a six-game series, including the final three games of the season’s first half, against the Jersey Shore BlueClaws (36-27) — the High-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies — at 7 p.m. from Maimonides Park in Brooklyn, N.Y.

LHP Felipe De La Cruz (3-5, 4.00) is expected to take the hill for the Cyclones. The BlueClaws are projected to counter with RHP Mitch Neunborn (0-0, 0.00).

LAST TIME OUT: The Cyclones suffered a heartbreaking defeat to the Renegades on Sunday, 8-7, in 10 innings...The Renegades scored two in the bottom of the 10th to walk off with a victory thanks to a SS Brenny Escanio RBI double and a CF Jace Avina sacrifice fly...Brooklyn had taken the lead in the 10th on a wild pitch after C Christian Pregent tied it with a run-scoring double in the eighth...Pregent went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI...LF Stanley Consuegra tied a career-best with four hits, adding a double and two RBI...DH Wilfredo Lara and SS William Lugo each accrued multi-hit games, with the latter reaching base three times...1B Nick Lorusso brought in a pair of runs without the benefit of a base hit...RHP Ben Simon tossed a scoreless inning and faced the minimum in his first appearance after being reinstated from the injured list...The 3-hour and 36-minute contest was Brooklyn's longest this year...It was the longest for the Cyclones since an 8-7 win in 3 hours and 47 minutes at Hudson Valley on July 21, 2023.
