Here are the Brooklyn Cyclone Game Notes for today's game.

The Brooklyn Cyclones (29-25) continue their six-game against the Aberdeen IronBirds (27-27) — the High-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles — on Friday at 7:05 p.m. from Maimonides Park on Coney Island in Brooklyn, N.Y.

 

RHP Jonah Tong (1-1, 3.74) — the New York Mets’ No. 20 prospect per MLB Pipeline — is expected to take the hill for the Cyclones. The IronBirds are projected to counter with the Orioles’ No. 17 farmhand per MLB Pipeline, LHP Luis De León (0-1, 3.27).

LAST TIME OUT: Brooklyn tallied a season-high-tying 13 runs and 14 hits in a 13-3 rout of Aberdeen on Thursday night...Trailing 2-0, the Cyclones scratched across a run in the fourth, six in the fifth, and four in the sixth...3B Jefrey De Los Santos picked up three hits, including a game-tying home run in the fifth...1B Chris Suero drove in a team-season-best five runs with a three-run home run and a two-run double...RF Stanley Consuegra, 2B Junior Tilien, and SS Wilfredo Lara all accrued multi-hit games...RHP Edwin Díaz tossed a scoreless inning as part of a Major League rehab assignment...He struck out two and worked around a two-out triple, earning the win...In his affiliated debut, RHP Jonathan Pintaro tossed 4.0 innings of one-run ball to collect the save.

OFFENSIVE OUTBURST: The Brooklyn Cyclones erupted for a season-high-tying 13 runs and 14 hits in Thursday's 13-3 win vs. Aberdeen...The 13 runs were the most for the Cyclones since a 13-3 win vs. Wilmington on April 24...The 14 knocks were also the most for Brooklyn since a 14-hit outing in a 9-7 win at Jersey Shore on April 20...Thursday marked the first time the 'Clones accrued 13+ runs and 14+ hits in the same game since an 18-1 triumph at Jersey Shore on August 28, 2022...It was the first time Brooklyn accomplished those numbers at Maimonides Park since a 14-0 win vs. Hudson Valley on May 19, 2021.
