7/22/24: Mets Roster Moves: C Logan Porter officially signed and optioned to Syracuse, Cole Sulser DFA'd

The New York Mets have announced the following roster moves:

Catcher Logan Porter has been signed to a Major League contract and optioned to Triple-A Syracuse.

RHP Cole Sulser has been designated for assignment.

The move gives the Mets a third Catcher on the 40 Man roster - one with Minor League Options.  Porter can easily be recalled from Syracuse should the need arise.

Cole Sulser pitched well for Syracuse this year, 2-2, 1.48 ERA, 24 games, 30.1 innings, 34 strikeouts.
