8/2/24 Mets Roster Moves - Blackburn activated, Megill and Porter to Syracuse

 

The New York Mets have announced the following roster moves 

Per the New York Mets on X: 

RHP Paul Blackburn has reported to the Major League team. He will start tonight and wear No. 58.

RHP Tylor Megill was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse following the game on July 31.

Catcher Logan Porter has cleared waivers and has been outrighted to Triple-A Syracuse.

LHP Zach Thornton assigned to Brooklyn Cyclones from St. Lucie Mets.

DSL Mets Blue released RHP Krisspy Valdez.

RHP Wellington Aracena assigned to St. Lucie Mets from FCL Mets.
