11/22/24: Mets sign Catcher Jakson Reetz to a minor league deal with Spring Invite "Reetz, who will turn 29 in January, spent 2024 with the San Francisco Giants and their AAA affiliate. He played 6 games with the Giants with 1 HR, 1 RBI, .143/.200/.429 - .629 OPS. In AAA Sacremento he played 58 Games, 5 HRs, 34 RBIs, .254/.368/.432 with a .799 OPS."
Heard Dedniel Núñez is progressing well from a strained right flexor tendon and PRP injection, which is great news for a player who once seemed at risk of surgery. He's going to work out with Licey of LIDOM and could even make a winter ball cameo if things continue to go well.
