Mets Roster Moves- Report: Mets sign RHP Rico Garcia to minor deal

 

According to Anthony DiComo on X, the New York Mets have signed 30 year old Rico Garcia to a minor league agreement with an invitation to Spring Training. 

Last year Rico Garcia saw time in Oakland and Washington. In AAA at Rochester for Washington, he went 6-3 with a 3.94 ERA, 20 Saves, 89 Ks, 30 walks in 61.2 innings.  See full stats below. 

He throws in the mid-90's and will provide depth at AAA.  

He will turn 31 in January.  According to FanGrahs, he is out of Minor League options.
