Binghamton Rumble Ponies Roster Moves - Joander Suarez transferred to AAA Syracuse - 4/30/25

After today's game, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies announced that RHP Joander Suarez has been transferred from AA Binghamton to AAA Syracuse.  An updated Binghamton Roster is below.  

In all likelihood, Joander will be the starting pitcher for Syracuse.  The original scheduled pitcher for that game, Brandon Waddell, was called up to the New York Mets to pitch in today's game.

Joander has pitched in just 3 games for Binghamton this year, 2 starts and 1 long relief outing.  His last outing on April 24th was his best - 5.1 innings; no runs; 2 hits; 5 Ks as he earned his first win of the year.  

Joander will always be remembered for throwing Binghamton's 8th No-Hitter in the franchise's history.  That helped him win the Eastern League Pitcher of the Week for the Second Straight week.
