The New York Mets have made the following roster moves:
RHP Ty Adcock (#52) and LHP Genesis Cabrera (#92) have been selected to the major league roster.
RHP Chris Devenski and LHP Brandon Waddell were optioned to Triple-A Syracuse following last night’s game.
To create room on the 40-man roster, LHP A.J. Minter and RHP Frankie Montas have been transferred on the 60-Day Injured List.
According to Fan Graphs, Chris Devenski is out of Minor League Options. Per Tim Healey on X, since Devenski has more than 5 years of MLB service, he had consent to be optioned. That is why he was optioned and not DFA'd.
He will need to clear waivers before he can go back to Syracuse. Brandon Waddell has one minor league option left - he can go back and forth between the MLB Mets and Syracuse 5 times this year.
