Here are the Brooklyn Cyclone Game Notes for today's game.
The Brooklyn Cyclones (26-13) continue their road trip against the Jersey Shore BlueClaws (15-23) — the High-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies — with a doubleheader on Thursday evening at 5:05 p.m. from ShoreTown Ballpark in Lakewood, N.J.
In Game 1, RHP R.J. Gordon (4-0, 2.56) is expected to start for the Cyclones. The BlueClaws are projected to counter with the Phillies’ No. 18 prospect per MLB Pipeline, RHP Alex McFarlane (0-3, 4.39).
In Game 2, Brooklyn is scheduled to hand the ball to LHP Jonathan Santucci (1-4, 6.58), the New York Mets’ No. 12 prospect per MLB Pipeline. Jersey Shore is expected to turn to the Phillies’ No. 17 farmhand per MLB Pipeline, LHP Mavis Graves (2-2, 6.58).

RAIN, RAIN GO AWAY: The Cyclones and BlueClaws were rained out on Wednesday morning...They will make up the postponed contest with a doubleheader on Thursday...The two teams will play another twinbill on Saturday to make up for the washed-out affair on Saturday, April 26...Wednesday marked the 3rd time the Cyclones had been rained out in 2025...Brooklyn was washed out 6 times in 2024...Brooklyn split its only doubleheader so far in 2025, losing Game 1 vs. Hudson Valley on April 12, 2-0, and winning Game 2, 2-1...In 2024, the Cyclones were 2-1-3 in doubleheaders, holding a 7-5 record overall...Thursday will mark Brooklyn's first doubleheader against Jersey Shore since being swept on June 3, 2023, in Lakewood...The 'Clones dropped the opener, 3-2, in 8 innings and the finale, 3-2, in 7 frames.
