The Brooklyn Cyclones (18-10) continue their six-game series against the Asheville Tourists (13-16) — the High-A affiliate of the Houston Astros — on Thursday at 6:35 p.m. from McCormick Field in Asheville, N.C.
RHP R.J. Gordon (3-0, 2.14) is expected to make the start for the Cyclones. The Tourists are projected to counter with the Astros’ No. 29 prospect per MLB Pipeline, RHP Bryce Mayer (NR), who is making his High-A debut.
