NY Post: "With the bases loaded and one out in the top of the ninth — and Soto looming on deck — Lindor hit a fly ball just deep enough for a sacrifice fly that scored Luisangel Acuña to lift the Mets to a tense 3-2 win over the Yankees on Saturday afternoon in The Bronx."

Brian Joura Mets360: "Edwin Diaz struck out Aaron Judge for the final out of the game, sending the Mets to a 3-2 victory over the Yankees Saturday afternoon in the Bronx. The win kept alive the Mets’ streak of not having lost three games in a row all season intact."

NY Daily News: "There was a chance to blow the game open against the Yankees in the fourth inning. Lindor and Soto drew leadoff walks from right-hander Clarke Schmidt, and Alonso hit an RBI single to left to score Lindor from second and tie the game at 1-1. Vientos put the Mets ahead 2-1 with a sacrifice fly for the second out.Schmidt loaded the bases, giving up a single to Jeff McNeil and walking Luis Torrens. That brought up Baty, who has been having a breakout month, but Baty popped up to Aaron Judge in right field."

NY Post: Heroes, zeros from Mets’ Subway Series win: Huascar Brazoban saves day. "The Mets probably do not win the game without Huascar Brazobán, who helped Griffin Canning escape danger in the sixth and then retired the side in the seventh, his ERA down to 1.01."

Newsday: "Canning gave up the homers by LeMahieu and Bellinger and was lifted for Huascar Brazoban with one out in the sixth, Jasson Dominguez at third and Anthony Volpe at first after consecutive singles. Alonso fielded J.C. Escarra's grounder and threw out  Dominguez at the plate for the second out and  LeMahieu grounded into a forceout to end the inning."

Jon Heyman NY Post Sports+: "Soto certainly helps by boosting their Q rating, adding some swagger and giving them a lineup top to match anyone’s except maybe that of the Dodgers, who start with three MVPs. But undeniably, it’s the pitching that’s carrying them now." (Subscription Required)
