FLUSHING, N.Y., May 27, 2025 – The New York Mets today announced that Scott Havens, who served as President of Business Operations since 2023, will be stepping down.
"Scott has played a key role in driving progress across the Mets organization," said Mets Owner, Chairman and CEO Steve Cohen. "I'm grateful for the impact he's had during his time with us. While we ultimately had differing perspectives on long-term strategy, I wish him the very best in his future endeavors."
"It has been an incredible honor to serve this franchise. I am proud of what we have accomplished together," said Scott Havens. "I remain a passionate, long-term supporter of the Mets and will be cheering on the team's continued success."
The Mets plan to announce the new President of Business Operations shortly and will work with Scott to ensure a smooth and collaborative transition.
