Here are today's Syracuse Mets Game Notes:

The Syracuse Mets begin a six-game series against the Iowa Cubs (Triple-A Chicago Cubs) with a doubleheader today at Principal Park in Des Moines, IA. In game one, RHP Paul Blackburn is scheduled to start on the mound for the Mets opposite Cubs RHP Connor Norland. In game two, RHP Nolan McLean is the slated starter for Syracuse against Iowa RHP Tommy Romero.

First pitch is of game one is at 1:08 p.m. ET. Game two will start about 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
