Here are the Brooklyn Cyclone Game Notes for today's game.

The Brooklyn Cyclones (1-1, 47-21) wrap up a six-game road trip against the Aberdeen IronBirds (1-1, 25-42) — the High-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles — on Sunday afternoon at 2:05 p.m. from Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, Md.

 

LHP Jonathan Santucci (4-4, 4.06), the New York Mets’ No. 12 prospect per MLB Pipeline, is expected to make the start for the Cyclones. The IronBirds are projected to counter with the Orioles’ No. 7 prospect per MLB Pipeline, RHP Michael Forret (1-1, 1.57).

LAST TIME OUT: The Cyclones had their 6-game winning streak snapped in a 7-3 loss at Aberdeen on Saturday night...The IronBirds grabbed the lead for good with a 5-run 2nd inning, highlighted by a 2-run home run by 3B Anderson De Los Santos...DH A.J. Ewing reached base 4 times with 2 singles and 2 hit-by-pitches, adding a stolen base...CF Carson Benge was on base 4 times, as well, garnering 2 knocks, 2 walks, and a swiped bag...RHP Brian Metoyer provided 2.1 innings of scoreless and hitless relief, striking out 3...RHP Raimon Gómez punched out 3 in a scoreless 7th inning...Brooklyn manager Gilbert Gómez was ejected by HP Michael Cross in the top of the 9th inning for arguing after both benches warned...It was his 1st ejection of the season.
