Here are the Brooklyn Cyclone Game Notes for today's game.

The Brooklyn Cyclones (2-1, 48-21) return home to open a six-game home stand, their first of the second half, against the Jersey Shore BlueClaws (1-2, 26-40) — the High-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies — on Tuesday evening at 6:40 p.m. from Maimonides Park on Coney Island in Brooklyn, N.Y.

 

RHP Nate Dohm (1-1, 1.64), the New York Mets’ No. 18 prospect per MLB Pipeline, is expected to make the start for the Cyclones. The BlueClaws are projected to counter with RHP Brandon Beckel (0-2, 2.33).

 

Live coverage on the Cyclones Radio Network, Bally Sports Live, and MiLB.tv will begin at 6:25 p.m.

 

LAST TIME OUT: Brooklyn captured Sunday's series finale in Aberdeen with a 1-0 victory...The Cyclones scored the game’s only run in the top of the 8th on a solo home run to left-center field by C Chris Suero...LHP Jonathan Santucci (5.0 IP, 1 H), RHP Noah Hall (3.0, 1), and RHP Chandler Marsh (1.0, 0) combined to toss a 2-hit shutout, Brooklyn's 8th of the season...Marsh stranded the tying and winning runs on base in the 9th, forcing 3B Anderson De Los Santos to fly out to left, to pick up the save...Santucci allowed 1 hit over 5.0 innings, striking out 5...Hall earned the win, punching out 4 over 3.0 scoreless innings of relief...Both teams finished the day with just 2 hits each...The game lasted exactly 2 hours, Brooklyn's second-shortest game by time this year.
