The Brooklyn Cyclones (4-2, 50-22) continue their six-game homestand against the Jersey Shore BlueClaws (2-4, 27-42) — the High-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies — on Friday evening at 6:40 p.m. from Maimonides Park on Coney Island in Brooklyn, N.Y.
RHP R.J. Gordon (4-2, 3.04) is expected to make the start for the Cyclones. The BlueClaws are projected to counter with RHP Casey Steward (3-7, 5.88).

LAST TIME OUT: Brooklyn dropped its 1st contest of the series on Thursday night, falling to Jersey Shore, 5-4 in 11 innings...The 'Clones let a 3-0 lead slip away as the BlueClaws rattled off 5-straight runs spanning from the 4th through 11th innings...Brooklyn struggled in a couple of late-game scenarios - the Cyclones failed to score with the bases loaded and nobody out in the 9th, and also couldn't plate a runner with the bases juiced and 1 out in the 10th...Down by 2 entering the home half of the 11th, Brooklyn scored the automatic runner, but nothing further...Still, RHP Brendan Girton continued his strong campaign, striking out eight over 4.0 innings of 1-run ball...In total, Brooklyn arms struck out 16...Offensively, LF Diego Mosquera led the charge with three hits, while CF A.J. Ewing and C Ronald Hernandez also pieced together multi-hit efforts.
