Here are the Brooklyn Cyclone Game Notes for today's game.

The Brooklyn Cyclones (5-2, 51-22) continue their six-game homestand against the Jersey Shore BlueClaws (2-5, 27-43) — the High-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies — on Saturday evening at 6 p.m. from Maimonides Park on Coney Island in Brooklyn, N.Y.

 

LHP Jonathan Santucci (4-4, 3.70), the New York Mets’ No. 11 prospect per MLB Pipeline, is expected to make the start for the Cyclones. The BlueClaws are projected to counter with the reigning South Atlantic League Pitcher of the Week, RHP Braydon Tucker (0-2, 4.95).

 

Live coverage on the Cyclones Radio Network, Bally Sports Live, and MiLB.tv will begin at 5:45 p.m.

 

LAST TIME OUT: Brooklyn clinched at the very least a series split thanks to a 6-3 win over Jersey Shore on Friday night...RHP R.J. Gordon tossed 6.0 innings of 1-run ball, striking out 6 without allowing a walk... The ‘Clones erased a 3-2 deficit, pulling even with a run in the 7th before putting up a 3-spot in a wacky 8th inning that featured 3 balks....2B Marco Vargas recorded a multi-hit, multi-RBI night, while 3B Colin Houck collected his first High-A RBI...Additionally, C Chris Suero scored 3 of the 6 Brooklyn runs.
