- The Mets beat the Braves, 4-0, in the final game of their four game set…It was the first time the Mets have beaten the Braves in consecutive days since July 25-26, 2024…They improved to 29-12 at home which is tied for the best start at home in franchise history with the ‘15 and ‘88 teams…Their 29-12 (.707) home record is the best mark in the majors…Held the opposition to three or fewer hits for the eighth time this season...They have pitched to a 3.12 ERA this season which is the best mark in the majors.
- The bullpen didn’t allow a run over 6.1 innings for the first time in a game since August 26, 2023 vs the Angels (7.1 IP).
- Pitched their seventh shutout of the season, tied for the ninth-most in the majors. Didn’t issue a walk for the seventh time this season which is tied for the fifth-most such games in the majors.
- Improved to 15-11 against the NL East and 37-21 against all National League opponents.
Griffin Canning (2.2 IP, H, 3 K):
Tossed 2.2 scoreless innings prior to being removed from the game with a left ankle injury.
Austin Warren (2.1 IP, H, 2 K):
- Entered in the third inning and earned his first win of the season after tossing a career-high-tying 2.1 scoreless innings (also: 8/6/21 at LAD with LAA)…Dating back to September 13, 2024 he has tossed 8.0 scoreless innings over five appearances…In 40 Major League appearances he has posted a 2.94 ERA (17 ER/52.0 IP).
Brett Baty (1-3, BB):
- Singled in the third inning and he now has a hit in four consecutive games and in six of his last seven starts at home.
- He is batting .328 (21-64) lifetime against the Braves.
Tyrone Taylor (0-3, RBI, SF):

Brandon Nimmo (1-4):

Dedniel Núñez (2.0 IP, 4 K):
- Entered in the sixth inning and threw 2.0 perfect innings…He recorded a season-high four strikeouts…It was the second time in his career he has recorded four or more strikeouts in a games (also: 5, 6/12/24 vs. MIA)...It marked his ninth career appearance of 2.0+ innings and six of those outings have been scoreless.
Pete Alonso (3-4, 2B, RBI, R):
- Drove in one with a single in the fifth to increase the Mets lead to 2-0…Doubled down the left field line in the seventh…His 42 extra-base hits this season are tied for the fifth-most in the majors…He has recorded 22 RBI in June which are tied for the third-most in the majors and his 65 RBI this season are fourth-most in the majors.
Jeff McNeil (1-3, 2 RBI, BB):
- Hit a two-run single in the seventh inning to increase the Mets lead to 4-0…Since June 7 he is hitting .283 (17-60) with eight extra-base hits and a .926 OPS
