Here are the Brooklyn Cyclone Game Notes for today's game.

The Brooklyn Cyclones (10-8, 56-28) continue their nine-game homestand and six-game series against the Wilmington Blue Rocks (8-10, 38-45) — the High-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals — on Friday evening at 6:40 p.m. from Maimonides Park on Coney Island in Brooklyn, N.Y.

 

RHP Hoss Brewer (1-0, 2.70) is expected to make the first start of his professional career for the Cyclones. The Blue Rocks are projected to counter with LHP Erik Tolman (1-3, 3.32).

 

The first 1,000 fans through the gates on Friday will receive a Cyclones’ Replica Amazin’s Jersey, and following the final out, there will be Postgame Fireworks.

 

Live coverage on the Cyclones Radio Network, Bally Sports Live, and MiLB.tv will begin at 6:25 p.m.

 

LAST TIME OUT: The Cyclones picked up their 2nd straight victory on Thursday night, a thrilling walk-off win over the Blue Rocks in 10 innings, 7-5...With two outs in a tie game in the bottom of the 10th, DH Ronald Hernandez clobbered his second walk-off home run of the season, becoming the first player in franchise history to launch multiple walk-off home runs...The Venezuela native finished the day 2-for-5 at the dish with 3 RBI...Additionally, 3B Boston Baro, 1B Onix Vega, and 2B Jefrey De Los Santos all finished with multi-hit efforts...Brooklyn once trailed 4-0 in the contest, good for their 13th win of the season when the opponent scores first... RHP Dakota Hawkins earned the win...The righty faced the minimum over 4.1 frames of scoreless, hitless relief work…Hawkins struck out six and walked none on just 43 pitches.
