Here are the Brooklyn Cyclone Game Notes for today's game.

The Brooklyn Cyclones (10-9, 56-29) continue their nine-game homestand and six-game series against the Wilmington Blue Rocks (9-10, 39-45) — the High-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals — on Saturday evening at 6 p.m. from Maimonides Park on Coney Island in Brooklyn, N.Y.

 

RHP Noah Hall (5-4, 2.65) is expected to make the start for the Cyclones. The Blue Rocks are projected to counter with the Nationals’ No. 20 prospect per MLB Pipeline, LHP Jackson Kent (4-6, 4.48).

 

The first 2,500 fans through the gates on Friday will receive a Superman Bobblehead giveaway as part of Superman Night at the ballpark.

 

Live coverage on the Cyclones Radio Network, Bally Sports Live, and MiLB.tv will begin at 5:45 p.m.

 

LAST TIME OUT: Brooklyn couldn't extend its winning streak to 3 games, falling to Wilmington on Friday night, 2-1...The Cyclones held Wilmington batters at bay, as 4 of 5 arms used by Brooklyn contributed scoreless efforts...Still, a 2-run top half of the 7th was enough for Wilmington to break the scoreless tie...The Blue Rocks plated runs on a sac fly from CF Teo Banks and RBI single from 2B Marcus Brown...Brooklyn got one back in the 8th on an RBI fielder's choice by C Ronald Hernandez, but could not scratch across anything further...SS Boston Baro logged a 3-for-3 day at the dish...Brooklyn logged just 5 hits in the defeat and was 0-for-5 with RISP.


 

HEY NOW, YOU'RE A FUTURE STAR: The SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game will take place this afternoon at 4 p.m. from Truist Stadium in Atlanta, Ga...A pair of former Cyclones will represent the New York Mets in the Minor League showcase...OF Carson Benge (2025) and RHP Jonah Tong (2024) will participate as members of the National League squad...In 60 games with Brooklyn earlier this season, Benge hit .302/.417/.480/.897 with 47 runs scored, 18 doubles, 5 triples, 4 home runs, 37 RBI, and 15 stolen bases...The 2024 first-round pick is still tied for the South Atlantic League lead in doubles (18) and triples (5), as well as 2nd in batting average (.302), on-base percentage (.417), and OPS (.897)...Tong made 19 starts for the Cyclones in 2024, collecting a 5-4 record with a 3.71 ERA (35 ER in 85.0 IP) with 74 hits allowed, 38 walks, and 110 strikeouts.
