Here are the Brooklyn Cyclone Game Notes for today's game.
The Brooklyn Cyclones (7-2, 53-22) open a six-game home-and-home series with a doubleheader against the Hudson Valley Renegades (4-5, 42-31) — the High-A affiliate of the New York Yankees — on Wednesday evening at 5:05 p.m. from Heritage Financial Park in Wappingers Falls, N.Y.
RHP Nate Dohm (1-1, 2.08), the New York Mets’ No. 18 prospect per MLB Pipeline, is expected to make the start for the Cyclones in game one. The Renegades are projected to counter with the Yankees’ No. 3 farmhand per MLB Pipeline, RHP Ben Hess (4-2, 4.32).
In game two, Brooklyn is scheduled to hand the ball to RHP Will Watson (0-0, 1.96), the Mets’ No. 29 farmhand per MLB Pipeline. LHP Kyle Carr (2-5, 2.86), the Yankees’ No. 18 prospect per MLB Pipeline, is expected to take the hill in the nightcap.
