The Brooklyn Cyclones (13-17, 59-37) return home for the first time in 16 days to open a six-game homestand against the Jersey Shore BlueClaws (14-15, 39-53) — the High-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies — on Tuesday evening at 6:40 p.m. from Maimonides Park on Coney Island in Brooklyn, N.Y.
RHP Brendan Girton (3-2, 2.47) is expected to make the start for the Cyclones. The BlueClaws are projected to counter with RHP Sam Highfill (NR), who is making his High-A debut.

NEW YORK'S OWN: OF Yohairo Cuevas was added to Brooklyn's roster from Single-A St. Lucie on Monday...The 21-year-old appeared in 63 games with the Mets and slashed .278/.440/.369/.809 with 41 runs scored, 12 doubles, 2 home runs, 11 RBI, and 11 stolen bases...Cuevas started the season on Brooklyn's 7-day injured list before joining St. Lucie on a Minor League rehab assignment on April 22...He was reinstated and transferred to St. Lucie on May 13...Since his season debut, Cuevas led the Florida State League in on-base percentage (.440) and was 4th in walks (50), tied for 7th in runs scored (41), 9th in batting average (.278), and 10th in OPS (.809)...Dating back to the beginning of June, Cuevas is hitting .311/.442/.432/.874 in 40 contests...The 5th-year pro was born in Manhattan and grew up in the Bronx...He attended All Hallows High School on East 164th Street in the South Bronx before moving to the Dominican Republic to be scouted and signed.
