The Brooklyn Cyclones (7-5, 53-25) return to Coney Island for the back half of a home-and-home series against the Hudson Valley Renegades (7-5, 45-31) — the High-A affiliate of the New York Yankees — on Friday evening at 6:40 p.m. from Maimonides Park on Coney Island in Brooklyn, N.Y.

 

RHP R.J. Gordon (4-2, 2.74) is expected to make the start for the Cyclones. The Renegades are projected to counter with RHP Josh Grosz (4-6, 3.69).

 

Live coverage on the Cyclones Radio Network, Bally Sports Live, and MiLB.tv will begin at 6:50 p.m.

 

LAST TIME OUT: The Cyclones dropped their 3rd-straight contest on Thursday night, 4-1, at Hudson Valley...DH Corey Collins collected his 1st multi-hit game at the High-A level, tallying a pair of singles, including an RBI knock in the 7th inning...SS Jesús Báez and 2B Marco Vargas each posted doubles...1B Coby Morales registered a game-high 3 hits and brought in a pair for Hudson Valley...All 9 Renegades hitters reached base safely at least once, and 7 of 9 collected at least 1 hit...Hudson Valley's LHP Griffin Herring went 7.0 innings of 1-run, 4-hit ball to earn the win.
