With their 12th Round selection in the 2025 MLB Draft, the Mets have taken RHP Truman Pauley; B/T: R/R; 6' 2"; 200 pounds; Age: 21; DOB: 12/26/2003

The Harvard University pitcher went 4-6 last year with a 4.61 ERA, 14 games, 12 starts, 70.1 innings, 91 Ks; 1.280 WHIP;

Baseball America: “While Pauley is an extremely erratic strike-thrower, he does have a fastball that many teams covet. He throws the pitch 92-93 mph on average and touches 95-96, but he gets an extreme amount of riding life—22.5 inches on average this spring—that could make it a consistent miss offering if he’s able to get it over the plate more frequently.”

Truman Pauley
Tournament record. Career day.

Truman Pauley shoved 9.0 innings of filthy stuff — 13 strikeouts (Ivy League Tournament record), no earned runs, and just five hits allowed. Fourth double-digit K game of the season, and his nastiest yet.

A couple of 1st inning Ks from Pauley this past Saturday. Plenty of raw stuff and trusts his breaking balls. Tough look for hitters when he's filling the zone pic.twitter.com/WICdLwPZAU
