  • Pete Alonso: Launched a two-run home run to left in the fourth inning to tie the game 2-2...His first home run at Citi Field since June 28 vs. Houston.
  • Jose Iglesias:  Knocked three base hits and a walk to get on base all five plate appearances.
  • Jeff McNeil:  Roped a double down the right field line in the eighth inning to cut the Mets deficit to 8-4...His second consecutive game with an extra base hit and an RBI.

Brian Joura Mets 360: "Mets pitchers gave up six home runs and came out on the losing end of an 8-5 game Monday against the Rockies at Citi Field. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak and puts the Mets’ record at 48-45 as we reach the All-Star break."

NY Post: Mets allow six homers in loss to Rockies as winning streak ends before All-Star break. "...the Mets’ record stood at a dreadful 24-35 on June 2, but Mendoza’s resurgent team still finished with 25 wins over its final 36 games heading into the four-day break.
