The New York Mets have announced the following roster moves:
RHP Reed Garrett has been placed on the 15-Day Injured List (retroactive to 8/23) with right elbow inflammation.
LHP Jose Castillo has been selected to the Major League roster.
RHP Frankie Montas has been transferred to the 60-Day Injured List.
