Mets History Today: November 20th - Happy Birthday Amed Rosario, Jeff McNeil Gets a Car

Amed Rosario, 2000 Topps Now Card

Happy Birthday Jackson Todd and Amed Rosario.

In 2017, Amed Rosario was ranked the number one Prospect in Baseball.  In 4 years with the Mets, he didn't quite live up to the hype.  His best year was 2019 when he hit 15 homers, 72 RBIS, .287/.323/.432.  He will best be remembered for his Walk-Off Homer at Yankee Stadium as the Mets made up a rainout in the COVID year as a home team in the Bronx.

Before the 2022 season, Francisco Lindor promised Jeff McNeil a car if he won the Batting title.  Lindor delivered the car 11/21/2023.
